JordiLight

Co-leading the JordiLight project at Twelve Degrees, I had the privilege of developing a remarkable wearable lighting device that caters to the needs of hikers and adventurers. This innovative product will soon be launched into the market.

JordiLight was born out of a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by outdoor enthusiasts once it comes to lighting solutions. We recognised the need for a product that enhances safety, convenience, and overall enjoyment during outdoor activities.

Throughout the design process the team and I meticulously focused on every aspect of the regulation to meet the highest standards of functionality and aesthetics. From developing the initial concept to assisting with design for manufacturing (DFM), working on the user interface and user experience (UI/UX), we were able to create a product that seamlessly integrates into the adventurous lifestyles of our target audience.

The wearable nature of JordiLight ensures that users have access to light whenever and wherever they need it. Whether it’s illuminating a trail during a night hike or providing hands-free lighting while setting up camp, riding a bicycle, or diving underwater, this device offers unparalleled convenience and versatility. Its economic design guarantees a comfortable fit that allows users to focus on their adventures without any inconveniences.

In order to cater to the unique needs of outdoor enthusiasts, JordiLight is equipped with a range of features that enhance functionality. These include adjustable brightness levels, various lighting modes, a SOS button, a compass, and a durable exterior that can withstand the rigours of outdoor environments. Additionally, the device incorporates advanced battery technology to provide long-lasting illumination, ensuring that adventures can rely on it throughout their journeys.
